Save kiCad component to new library

• Save a component to a new library:
  when you are in Library Editor, and are done editing...
  • “Save current component to new library”
    (open book icon, in upper menu bar, about middle of page)
  • “New Library” box opens
  • navigate to desired folder (presumably librariesAdded) and click New Folder
  • enter desired folder/library name. <CR> <Open>
  • [libraryName].lib will be in FileName field. <Save>
  • warning box: “This library will not be available...” <OK>
  • File > Quit to exit Library editor
• Set preferences so eeschema can find it:
  • return to Eeschema > Tools > Library Editor > Preferences > Component Libraries
  • in Component library files (top box), "Add"
  • scroll to find desired library (.lib file) (wherever your 'librariesAdded' folder is located)
  • select .lib file & Open & OK
  • File > Quit to exit Library Editor
