This shield will contain components and circuits for RS485 and i2c communication with remote sensors.

• RS485:
• Overview:
  Initial scope is to use RS485 to communicate with remote leak sensors.
• Hardware - MAX485 modules are used:
  • one module as master at rPi, mounted (...where??):
  • DE & RE tied together and connected to rPi pin? (GPIO#?)
  • DI connected to rPi Tx pin 8 (GPIO#14)
  • RO connected to rPi Rx pin 10 GPIO#15)
  • one module as slave, connected to Arduino Nano,
    located in bedroom for rear leak sensors.
