Hooking up to DVM:
Bending in one direction creates + voltage that can exceed 2v.
Bending in the other direction creates similar - voltage.
Actual voltage highly variable on how fast and how much you bend it.
If you bend it and hold it bent, the initial voltage surge decays back to 0 in about 3 seconds.
When you release the bend you've held, a reverse voltage is generated that again decays to 0.
