On This Page (links or content):
  • [...a bunch of random stuff...]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • In part Design (and surely other WB's as well...)
If you've created a body with some features,
and you want to rotate it in relation to the drawing axis,
(which will also rotate it in relation to any other bodies in your drawing,...)
    do this:
    • with sketch closed (ie. not in an edit session):
click listing in model tree to select the body you want to rotate
    • in properties window (left side of screen)
(do what if it's not shown?)

      position...?

    • ...
    • ... there's only a single rotation definedk/allowed
however you can set the axis however you want
the axis is defined by setting the x, y, and z parameters

      for example:
      default is (x, y, z) = (0, 0, 1)

this will rotate your body asround the z axis
if you've created your sksetch in the x-y plane, then ...
if you want to roate your body into the z-space...
