- Nylon-12 filament with ~ 10-15% (by wt) chopped carbon fibers
- Properties:
Density ~ 1.35 g/cm3
0.5kg spool ~ 682 ft = 208 m
High stiffness, impact resistance, and tensile strength.
Stability and rigidity prevent warping.
Hygroscopic - must be kept dry
Bake at 180F 4-6 hrs if needed
- Printing parameters::
Nozzle: 250 - 265C
Bed: 60 - 65C (w/ glue stick)
Print speed: 25 - 35 mm/sec
Print cooling fan: off
- Recommended Nozzle:
Stainless Steel, Olsson Ruby, or other hardened nozzle types
Larger nozzles (0.6mm +) will give much stronger parts.

- From forum: "a light coat of 'Garnier Fructis Style Extreme Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray, Extreme Hold' "
- Glue with: Taulman ComPlete Nylon Glue $24/25g
or use a hot glue gun,
or use silicone caulk and clamp to dry.
