Various sources have recommended that sand-blasting printed parts is an efficient and effective technique for post-processing. In particular, removing fine strings is much easier with a sandblaster than doing it manually.

  storage box with snap lid, with gasket to keep grit inside

• OTOH, the toilet flanges used as hand/arm ports are uncomfortably small for my arms,
  plus they're like $13 each,
  so nominal plan at the moment is to draw in SketchUp and 3d print some flanges.
