• At this point I need a quadrature or IQ source:
• g0kla says for one thing that my cheap RTL dongle does not have IQ output,
  so it will need some additional software (that he doesn't provide) to get it.
  (go to:) SDR# - install on Windows
• OTOH he does provide a sample "test file" of recorded IQ audio that can be used in this tutorial.
