GQRX Operation on Linux

Connect the antenna to the dongle, and plug it into your USB port.
Go to ... ..., and double-click the gqrx executable.
The first time you execute this, the configure dialogue opens. The RTL source must be selected, then clicking OK will open the gqrx window. After the first execution, subsequent ones will open directly to the gqrx window.
If you execute gqrx later and want to change the configuration parameters, click on the 'circuit-board' icon ("Configure I/O devices") in the top menu bar.
Clicking Play icon in upper left should start signal reception.
To save a sample, clicked on Tools (upper menu bar), then I/Q recorder, select location to save, click 'Rec' icon, wait, click again to stop.
A file is created, named (eg.): gqrx_20190618_143945_0_96000-dc.raw
