• Overview:
  Boxes, usually watertight, containing a transceiver and a battery.
  Portable, used to take a station into the field.
• Configurations:
• Mine will be mud-proof - that is, there will be no connectors
  or gauges or any other devices accessible (to dirt or water) on the outside of the box.
  mud-proof: it can be buried in the mud and, after cleaning off the outside, will be fully functional.

  Saw a comment that IC-7000 makes a poor portable because the so-nice color screen uses a lot of power.
      Mine reads about 1.1A receiving.
