Logitech has a small device (Unifying Receiver) that plugs into a USB port that allows wireless connection to keyboards, trackballs, etc.
You can download software from Logitech to set them up, however they only support Windows and Mac.
In order to set up a Unifying Receiver for Linux, I plugged it into my Windows machine, programmed it for the keyboard I wanted to connect, then moved it to my Linux laptop, and it worked.

Pairing instructions:
- Plug your Unifying Receiver into a USB port on your Windows machine.
- Click on Unifying250.exe (downloaded from Logitech)
- This is a setup program, and when it's launched,
it will prompt you to turn off your remote device, then back on.
- If your remote device happens to already be paired with another Unifying Receiver,
you must unplug that receiver before creating a new pairing with a new receiver.
It does not seem to be possible to pair the same remote device (mouse or whatever) to two different Unifying Receivers.
- It also worked to execute DJCUHost.exe in C:/ProgramFiles/CommonFiles/LogiShrd/Unifying directory
