  • Different online sources suggest different temperatures for the same filament. However there are indeed a lot of different formulations for any given filament type...

  • PLA:
    • MH:
      40-45C (104F-113F)
      glass transition 70C (158F)
      4-8 hours
    • PrintDry:
      50C >3 hrs

  • ABS:
    • MH:
      80C (176F)
      glass transition 105C (221F)
    • PrintDry:
      65C >3 hrs

  • PETG:
      This is the temp when it will start to soften enough to lose structure/rigidity
      ...
    • MH:
      80C (176F)
    • PrintDry:
      65C (149F) >3 hrs

  • Nylon:
    • MH:
      glass transition varies w/ actual composition
      45 - 70C (113F-158F)
    • PrintDry:
      70C >12 hrs
