- Print Fan Error:
- After a seriously munched print, which ended up with globs of filament all around the extruder and fans, subsequent prints failed for "Err: Print Fan Error."
- Turn fan on manually with:
Menu > Settings > Temperature > Fan Speed, then enter desired speed up to 255
Move extruder side-to-side, wiggle wires, etc, while watching fan for hesitations, pauses.
- As a last resort, disable fan:
Menu > Settings > Fans Check [off]
Prusa site says this can be used if you've used a replacement fan that does not have rpm sensing, however in fact it turned the fan off completely, not just check/sensing function.

- Extruder fan:
You cannot conveniently troubleshoot problems with the extruder fan like you can the print fan.
In order to turn the extruder fan on manually, you must cross-wire it with the print fan connector.
Open the case to the control board, pull the fan cables out, plug the extruder fan cable into the print fan socket, then control the extruder fan with print fan commands.
