• A code plug is a file that you download to your radio that contains the "credentials" of all the talk groups that you are interested in.
  The credentials will include things such as the repeater frequency, the talk group name, the TDMS time slot used, the CC (color code), [maybe others...]
  - basically everything your radio and repeater need to find and connect to the talk groups you want.
• Create code plugs with your CPS, Customer Programming Software.
• Code plugs are interchangeable between different radio models
