GEAR website editing

• The GEAR website is in WIX.

• Log in:
  • go to wix.com
    click sign in
    enter group email and password
    click log in

• Edit a page:
  MySite
  Site Actions
  Edit site
  At the top, "Page: Home"
  hover and click to switch page
  select page you want to edit
  eg. "Ham related equipment for sale"
  select and delete text and/or type new
  click Save (upper right), then Publish, then Done

• Add photo:
  click media icon on left
  opens "media" box
  scroll to bottom, and click "upload media"
  click "upload from computer"
  navigate to file desired
  double-click to select
  upload complete
  Choose Media Files window will open. Note your uploaded file will be highlighted.
  click add to page (lower right corner)
  drag corners to resize, drag center to re-position
  click Publish (upper right)

• Save a custom button design:
  • When you have customized one of the generic button designs to your liking,
    or if you just like one of the default designs that you want to save
    for easy retrieval in the future:
    In website editor, viewing your site page that contains your customized or desired button,
    right click the button, scroll down to "Save to My Designs", then left-click.
    Enter desired name, click Save.
  • Recall/re-use your saved design:
    Viewing/Editing the page where you want to insert your saved button,
    click Add to Site
    scroll to the bottom and mouse over My Designs to display your saved designs in the right-hand column
    Click your desired button. It will insert into your page.
    Drag to reposition, edit as desired.
