Hardware Note:
The input/sensor plug included with the pill I got
has three wires: red, black, and yellow.
The yellow wire is common/ref/signal-gnd
---------------------------------
Eye twitch (EOG):
Connected ear clip to ground, and two sensors to far right and far left of eyes per "horiz movement" config.
Connected BioAmp output to Espotek to display on PC.
Indeed did see a very small signal when moving eyes to far right or far left,
however there was significant 60 Hz noise on top of all.
---------------------------------
ECG:
Connected probes per ECG diagram.
Connected bioAmp output to Espotek input.
HB signal clearly there, but lots of noise...
---------------------------------
EEG:
The complex waveform produced by the bioAmp EEG sensors is converted from time to frequency domain,
giving a measure of how much of the total signal is in which of the various brainwave frequency bands.
Delta waves are the lowest frequency wave (1-4 Hz) and occur during deep sleep
Theta waves (4-8 Hz) usually occur during lighter sleep. They are associated with creativity
Alpha waves (8-12 Hz) are also associated with creativity, as well as a relaxed yet alert state of mind
Beta waves (13-30 Hz) are the most common waves. They are related to concentration and focus.
