Drupal Updates and Upgrades

• "Update" is the process of changing from eg. version 7.x to version 7.x+
  ie. changing from one minor revision to another.

• "Upgrade" is the process of changing from eg. version 7.x to version 8.x
  ie. changing from one major revision to another.

• "Migrate" is the process of creating a new db and moving all your content from old db to the new one.
  Some notes suggest this is necessary to go from D-7 to D-8 vs. traditional "upgrade" process.
