-----

  • Create a "frontpage":
    • After you've created at least one page on a new site,
you may designate it to be the "frontpage", that is, the page that is displayed when you open a browser to your site.
    • in drupal-10:
      in site administration menu:
Configuration -> System - basic site settings -> scroll to Front page section
the "Default front page" box will list "/node"
Add: "/" and the node# of the page you want to be your frontpage
eg. the Default front page box may now say: "/node/1"
scroll to bottom and click "Save configuration"
Find the node number of your desired front page by going to the Content screen, scroll to find the page you want,
select it (click its title), and see the node number listed in the browser url bar.
