  • Pick a computer:
    • Hamclock requires a linux system.
    • It's best to have a dedicated system, that does nothing else, other than the Hamclock.
  • If you have a windows or mac system, you must install linux:
    • You have the option to do a "permanent" install, which will irretrievable wipe/delete all of your original OS and any files you've saved,
    • or you can boot a windows or mac system into linux from a usb stick, leaving all your original files intact.
    • Some PC's have native linux OS,like rPi's and inovato.
  • Pick a monitor:
    • Before installing Hamclock, you must decide what monitor you'll use.
    • The Hamclock installation is different according to the screen resolution of the monitor you'll be using,
      so you need to find out what resolution your monitor has (1920 x 1024 or whatever).
  • Install Hamclock:
    • Once you have a linux system and have picked your monitor...
    • download the software...
    • do the install...
  • Run Hamclock:
