Using WinLink with telnet

• Normal operation: (ie. not the first time)
  Send and receive messages:
  • Start Pat from terminal with:
    $pat http
  • Open browser to URL: localhost:8080

  • Sending messages:
    Same procedure as first time:
    Action --> Compose
    Enter recipient, subject, and content,
    then Post to put the message into your Outbox.
    Then Action --> Connect to send it.
  • Receiving messages:
    Messages that you have received will be in your Inbox,
    at least they will be after you have done: Action --> Connect.
    Click them to open/view them.
