Startup:

• with IDE closed, and Arduino disconnected...
• open IDE
• open program - easiestBlink or whatever
• verify program
• connect FTDI programmer to PC USB port
• "USB Serial Port (COM10)" showed up on DevMgr.
• plug FTDI into Ardweeny
• Tools > Board > Arduino Uno
• Upload
• lots of blinkies on Ardweeny pin13 LED and on FTDI board
• Successful?

Note there is no onboard regulator, so 5v must be supplied, either from USB or from external supply.
